
HBCU Superlatives Awards: Full list of 2025 winners, All-Americans
The HBCU Superlative Awards were announced Monday, Dec. 8, led by Alabama State quarterback Andrew Body.
Body, the Offensive Player of the Year, completed 113 of 160 passes for 1,770 yards with 20 touchdowns to an interception this season, also rushing for 518 yards and four scores. The fifth-year junior started his career at Texas Southern.
Delaware State first-year coach DeSean Jackson took home Coach of the Year honors. Jackson, a former All-Pro receiver with the Philadelphia Eagles, led Delaware State to an 8-4 record with a win over Norfolk State, where his former teammate Michael Vick coaches.
Livingstone College edge rusher Kenyon Garner, who ranks third in Division II with 14 sacks this season, was named the Willie Davis Defensive Player of the Year. The Florida Atlantic signee leads the nation with 27 tackles for loss.
