Who does USMNT play next at the World Cup?

After a 1-0 win over Iran on Tuesday, the U.S. national team has set up a World Cup last-16 showdown with the Netherlands.

The game will take place at the Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, and will be broadcast on Fox and Telemundo.

The USMNT finished second in Group B, with England topping the group after defeating Wales 3-0 on Tuesday. Second place in Group B was matched up against first place in Group A, a spot the Netherlands occupied after a strong group stage.

The Dutch defeated Senegal and Qatar and drew with Ecuador, finishing atop the group with seven points. Cody Gakpo was the star for his country, scoring three of their five goals in the group stage.

The USMNT has faced the Netherlands five times in its history, winning one and losing four. This will be the teams’ first meeting in a non-friendly match.
